The LeClairs in OC-2 Masters (over 40)
Getting to Wausau was a long drive. My front left wheel bearing clicked to whole way there. Replaced it in camping area, also broke the break line fixing it, then the tire went flat..
The race course got its water from one gate in the dam just above the start.
When the gate opened, water!
THe LeClairs won their class, as usual.
Kaz and "Twisted Sister" taking the big drop.
Don't know these folks, but I think an error occurred.
The big drop from above. Dick M. in BaNa2 (code for banana). The drop was a big enough that you could not tell if there was a boat below it.
Jackie M. also in BaNa2. They were both high school chemistry teachers.
Jackie M. continues.
Spectators had a great view.
Safety had the best view and sometimes grabbed you if you were in the water.
The downriver race was held on different part of the river. This is the start.
The downriver race was all flat, except for this spot. I am just entering from the left.
Someone gave me hint how to run it, and it worked. I passed a boat that was stuck half way down, but I made it with a lot of water.
Just trying to stay afloat. I had to get out and empty the boat before continuing. I placed low in the standings, but I finished.
