1975. An early spring trip down a local river NW of Boston. The RR tracks provided an easier trail. In the spring, flat water is still ice so lakes had to be carried around. An infamous portage.
Possibly Beaver Brook in NH above Lowell, MA. Water vapor contrails from a small sodium explosion.
Craig squeezing into his Haun C1, Ken readying his, so mine must be the farthest one. I think this was put in at Otter Brook, NH.
Kevin, in his rent-a-car, always ready to go boating. This shot at my then home in Woburn, MA.
My favorite photo of us heading to a river. I think this was heading to the Deerfield River in western MA. We were ready to unload the boats, but didn't need to.
On the other hand, this may be my favorite. We are near Jackman, ME, deciding if we want to do anything. We decided to spend the weekend deciding. That was fun.
Moxie Falls, the highest in Maine. 90 foot drop. Moxie stream flows into the Kennebec River near the popular gorge section above The Forks.
